this may be a little late but i just caught Just Follow Law and i think it's a great movie that hits the spot regarding the public sector in singapore. to the people who send email as a form of black and white, cc-ing and bcc-ing your bosses as well as related managements as a means to protect your backside, this is the show for you. after months working for the higher management, i still don't get the black-and-white, strict compliance of the organizational laws and rules, pushing the work to others and the email-sending system. maybe i'm still a little naive but the tongue-in-cheek way jack neo puts the whole situation made me smile with this one.

never been a fan of local actors and actresses but fann wong was awesome.

do you know why we, orang-orang melayu, can never maximize our progress? it's because of adages/proverbs like this one. if we're having some form of success somewhere else, why don't we just continue what we're doing?
